For being in the health care field where you have to care and take care of people for a living, some of these nurses/aids are so mean. Just because someone is developmentally disabled, does NOT mean you need to speak louder at her for her to listen. Shes purposely ignoring you and being mean because you guys have pissed her off. And since she cant speak for or do much for herself, I am here. Which means I also deserve a little bit of respect. If I ask a question or ask for something to be done, just do it. You get paid to do it. Not speaking of all nurses/aids, I have a lot of respect for so many especially since I have a taste of what its like, but for the ones I speak of, please retire or find a different line of work where the people around you will think youre half pleasant to be around.
