For cat-lovers only!!! This poor kitty cried and cried and I could hear her two buildings over!! When I finally found her I discovered she was at the very top of a 3.5 story tree!!! There she was circling the top of the tree, with knicks and scratches and frightened! She gathered quite a crowd who were all determined to help her! As it turns out, the fire department will rescue a dog, but not a cat! My good friend (a 911 operator) says its very dangerous for firemen to save these curious cats and recommends just putting an open can of salmon tuna under the tree and the cat will get itself down even if it takes a couple days.... my cats vet has warned, though, that a cat can die after 3 days of no water.... There was a real hero in this story though.. the pet-owner was at work so she called her boyfriend. He went right over and climbed that dense tree and brought the cat down safely! He will have the scars to prove his heroism!!!! How romantic!!!! youtu.be/LxKwfPnp8OE
