For everyone asking, here are the reasons why the Giants made no attempt (that we know of) to trade for Percy Harvin: 1) He has a massive salary that currently exceeds their 2014 cap space. 2) He has, and has always had, a serious attitude problem. He violently fights teammates (apparently regularly) and tries to put an I in team. 3) He flatout defies coaches and refused to go into the game against the Dallas Cowboys (according to reports) -- a game the Seahawks would go on to lose. This does not define what a Giant is. And hes not a player that could survive in New York, in the Giants locker-room and under head coach Tom Coughlin. Especially not at that extreme salary plus a draft pick that would have been required in the trade.
