For everyone taking the ice bucket challenge, take a few minutes and meet the man who started it all. Pete Frates is a true inspiration, even in his current condition all he wants to do is continue to help others with this disease. Millions of dollars have now been raised for the ALS foundation thanks to his tireless efforts. In just a few short weeks this man will be a first time dad, due to the aggressive nature of ALS he will probably never be able to actually hold his child, as a parent that thought alone makes me cry. I applaud those taking the challenge and donating to the foundation, together we can find a cure and make ALS a thing of the past!
