For family & friends who have been keeping up with my hubbys plight. When he first called Affordable Dentures he told Maria [receptionist] that he would love to be able to eat his favorite candy, peanut brittle, and some other things before he passes. Well, Maria called Wed. to say she had sent his dentures and FedEx delivered them yesterday. When I opened the box there were his wonderful new teeth as well as a very nice box of SEES CANDY peanut brittle!!!!! Also a card with hand written notes from Dr. Beverly Goodman, Maria, Dee & Christine, all of them thanking Blair for the opportunity to be some small part of his life. One of them even referred to him as their angel when in actuality THEY are the angels! Yes, mortal angels DO have names & faces instead of wings. First thing he did was start chomping the peanut brittle, cashews & cheetoes while waiting for me to get his New York steak slightly cooked. It was rather comical watching him decide what to tackle next! We had already been blessed so much by our Dr. coming to our home for over 2 years to do his check-ups and having Hospice come in and help us so very very much BUT Dentists making house calls is totally unheard of! I am still in awe of all the fantastically wonderful angels that have entered our lives and enriched it so much!!! May God bless their lives in some way!!
