For five years Ive provided catering to the Shawnee Mission School districts events. Soccer, Cross Country, Golf and others. Ive worked on a simple formula, I provide the catering basically at cost, to help them, and for that I get paid at delivery, so I am not out the expense. That formula worked perfectly for five years and many, many events. Until two weeks ago. Then the new Brownbackistan rules have caused a more than two week delay in my payment, forcing me to provide a ridiculous amount of regulatory documentation to do business with the school district. Sure, its only $280. But for a tiny business like mine, that matters. To Brownbackistan, it obviously doesnt. So - if you think Brownback is good for business, and believes in less regulation, you clearly dont know the difference between small business and the people Brownback represents.
