For goodness sake... Can I just have like, a case of wine?? So I am in the kitchen steaming veggies to make baby food. Presley is in her walker next to me and Gavin is playing in the backyard. Gavin comes in and tells me that he stepped in dog poop... So I go outside to wash his foot off... only to discover he has smeared it all over the patio. (Wait! It gets better!) So, I get the hose and begin squirting off said poop. (Cue toddler tantrum because he cant have the hose.) While this is happening, the smoke detectors start going off. (Oh ya, the veggies!) I run back into the kitchen amidst a smokey haze to find that the pot of water I was steaming the food in evaporated and now the stove has begun burning my pot. So after I turn off the stove, I go to fan the smoke away from the detectors & open windows. As Im doing that, Gavin seizes the opportunity to take the hose and spray my kitchen and baby. I think Im just gonna go ahead and call in sick tomorrow.
