For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly FATHER will also forgive you; but if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your FATHER forgive your trespasses. Matthew 6:14-15. Very strong words from JESUS, and it gets my attention, and makes me think. Who have I not forgiven?! Who have I said I have forgiven, but I am still holding onto unforgiveness deep inside?! Who is it that I just wont forgive?! I know some hurts run very deep; some actions we just dont understand; especially when some form of abuse enters the picture. Thats why I (we) need GODs love in our life through JESUS CHRIST. GODs love, loving like JESUS loves, helps us to operate in a spirit of forgiveness. In myself, there are some things I am not capable of forgiving, or even operating in a spirit of forgiveness. But when JESUS takes over my life, really has my life in HIS hands, I can forgive everything, and everyone, because of the love of GOD, through JESUS, having place (residence) in my life. I want forgiveness; I am forgiven; now I need JESUS to operate HIS love and forgiveness through me! Help me LORD!!! --- Pastor Greer
