For immediate release: Message from Superintendent, Martin County Schools, Steven C. Meadows In view of ongoing safety concerns at Sheldon Clark High School and pending final approval from the Martin County Board of Education, we are beginning immediate plans to reconfigure our existing school facilities to accommodate the 2013-14 school year. Inez Middle School will be designated for all students grades 9-12; Warfield Middle School will be designated for all students grades 6-8. Our elementary schools, grades P-5, remain unchanged. Finally, to ensure our schools and our faculty and staff are ready to receive students, the start date for our new school year may be pushed back approximately one week. The Martin County Board of Education has set a Special Called Meeting for: Thursday, August 1, 2013, 6pm, in the Inez Middle School Gymnasium. The status of Sheldon Clark High School is on the agenda for discussion. Steven C. Meadows Superintendent, Martin County Schools
