For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day, and hallowed it (Ex. 20:8-10, KJV). When the Lord God, the One Who later became Jesus Christ, gave the Sabbath commandment, as part of the Ten Commandments, He also gave the reason for the Sabbath. Let us examine the Fourth Commandment very carefully: Remember the Sabbath day to keep it holy. Six days shalt thou labor and do all thy work; but the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God; in it thou shalt not do any work, thou nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor the stranger that is within thy gates: Friday Night(after sunset) - Saturday Night(after sunset)... Not Sunday as taught today... Why? Sunday is the 1 day of the week according to the calendar today... What is the 7th day of the week? Saturday... What do you think and why?
