For many Sri Lanka are seen as one of those teams who you enjoy watching. A team that produces a lot of excellent cricketers with flair and the ability to entertain. Ranataunga, Aravinda de Silva, Murali, Malinga, Sangakkara, Mahela are just a few names that spring to mind when it comes to Sri Lankan cricket. However on Monday, the 5th day of the third Test in Sharjah I feel that they lost a lot of friends and admirers. The antics of Angelo Mathews and some of his team mates were nothing short of embarrassing and in my opinion close to bringing the game into disrepute. Their approach to the third Test, their hounding of the umpires, their time wasting was extremely disappointing for a team that really did not need to resort to such tactics.
