For many business owners, working on the business is a low priority item that is pushed aside in the hustle and bustle of taking care of clients and getting more sales. Yet, I find that when work on the business is a low priority the business is reactive to crises and has trouble creating a cycle of stable growth that provides them the means to effectively do business. As a result, these business owners have periods of good business and then periods of time where they are scrambling to bring business in.
