For me, its about the women who bring love and light to their battle for human rights and the future of their culture that they had given birth to. This a moving piece of film. The mothering thoughtful moves of a woman in battle brings a stronger bond of camaraderie to these troops. Its unfortunate they have to fight and kill, but with their special strengths, its fortunate for all that they are unafraid and inspiring. Be sure to click the gear icon at the right of the screen for the English subtitles. Settle in watch this later if you have to, but you really should experience the story, watch the troops of women crossing a rapid ravine and once on the other side with a big jump, they turn to the soldier behind them to offer their hand in helping their mate to jump across. There are many little gestures like this that remind you as you watch, that this is war yet, this is a beautiful walk of humanity and suffering, of national pride with a blend of maternal concern for their culture, for their society, and its future. After 25 years they are not broken in spirit nor love for their place on earth, a love and place they believe worth dying for. And they fight on against ISIS with little or no help from the world. Their artillery is archaic compared to the wealthy arsenal deployed from the other side, again, with no arms support from other countries. The rest of the worlds interest in victory against ISIS is not the same yet it is - as the Kurdistani Freedom Fighters stand alone in holding back from their lands borders, men and women together defending the borders that must not be taken to expand the geographical growth of territories captured by ISIS. It threatens not just them, but all of us. https://youtube/watch?v=BEXzLHeDcK8
