For me, the end of a recording project is always bittersweet. You have the excitement and joy of impending release tempered with the thought of knowing the unique brew of energy that surrounds each project will never be experienced again. In other words, there will be no more memories to be had in the music-creative phase of making this record. In this case, the production was one phantasmagorical rush. Larry was a fantastic Passepartout to my Fogg, and the initial bet was made with myself. The blinding success of my Kickstarter (thanks to you all) was fantastic. The word awesome has lost its bang, but awe is the proper term for the talent of Bill Syniar, whose contribution to my disc is paramount, as you will hear when it is released. Ditto for Cletus Goens, Rob Lorenz, Gregg Gronowski, Steven Eaklor, Ruben Agosto, Rich Romanowski, Thom Griffin, Sandy Caufield, Dave Stahlberg, Steve Eisen, Tim Bales, and unbelievably, Mike Pinder. I have nothing but Love and Gratitude for my Chrissy who puts up with the mood swings that accompany any creative effort. As we now enter the Art completion phase, I will speak of the geniuses who have risen to the occasion in another post. I want them to have their own spotlight.
