For me, this is my favourite Clapton song, but I didnt always recognize that although this song made me a big Clapton fan, what I was really falling for was the amazing guitar work contributed by the late great Duane Allman. I always thought it was Claptons playing that I was enamoured with, when all along it was Duane Allmans beautiful melodic phrases that wooed me. Clapton owes Duane for this one as this song really sent Clapton into the Superstar category.
