For most of the night so far, I kept my bedroom door wide open. This is symbolic of the Open Tomb on Easter Sunday. When Mary and her company came to the sepulcher and were wondering who would help them roll away the stone covering the tomb of Jesus, Gods Resurrection Power had done that already because the Lord had risen! Keep the door of your life open for the Lord to step in; an open door like that epitomizes openness to Gods will and His ways. If you keep a closed door or heart, you block out the Lord and the Power of the Resurrected Lord will be limited in your life if at all effectual in any way. Today, Christ stands at the door and knocks - Open that door. He will come in and sup with you - give you the assurance of salvation, issue you a ticket for eternal life, grant you grace to live the God-like life, deliver you from all your past errors and their consequences and give you a marshal plan for a beautiful life on earth as you keep your eye on eternity. As you celebrate another Easter season, know that your faith squarely rests on the Lord Resurrected. Keep the door of your heart open!
