For my beautiful friend & inherited family Holly Eck-Tucker- It is often hard to stay the course and be strong in the face of adversity. It is often impossibly heartbreaking to be the only one who stands firm- and even lonely if no one else will. It can harm your confidence and your belief in yourself, clearly right to your core. But do not sway- do not lapse your standard. We get trials to ensure that we can withstand, and remain as strong as whats being measured. We gather wind, and soar above ultimate starting over @ ground zero even when it feels like we never rest. It may be lonely, leading the way, and it may not even look like the lead- until- UNTIL the day when we are recognized. The day our ribbons stand out, for being that tried and true, solid and solitary figure that can be relied upon- is the day we know our path is intended. The first time is the stepping stone for the next, and on and on. This, my dear Holly, is the best and most important course for us. You will see it, in some form, in some fashion, no matter how small the ribbon. Someone is always noticing, and measuring, and waiting for us to be as strong as we are indebted to be. Dont give in, and never give up. Strength hurts sometimes, but peace and avoiding extenuating suffering is the threshold for greatness. I love you my dear!
