For my caring & interested mainland friends: So Iselle is on her way... But Julio looks to be even more fierce. Due to hit here on Maui on Sunday. Just upgraded to a category 3 hurricane. 6:00pm Hurricane Iselle Update on Maui: Its cloudy & gloomy out, the heavy rain has begun, & the wind has definitely picked up speed. The storm is just getting started. Its predicted that well start experiencing the outer band of Iselle around 8:00pm this evening or shortly thereafter.... Critical juncture not due to hit until the early morning hours (yes, I got that term from watching the news ). ☔️☁️
