For my first review, Ill be discussing my new foundation that I purchased today! Lock-It Tattoo Foundation by Kat Von D! PRICE: This 30ml product currently retails at Sephora for $34. I would personally say that the price isnt bad for the quality of the product. PACKAGING: The packaging itself is absolutely gorgeous! It does have a built in pump, which I love. It can definitely be annoying when youve got a little bottle of something and youre tipping it over, never really being able to control the amount of product that comes out :/ So that obviously isnt a concern with this foundation. CONSISTENCY: I noticed right away how thick the product is, which most full coverage foundations usually are. I would probably compare the consistency of this foundation to MAC Pro Longwear. However, this foundation happens to be free of synthetic fragrances! Not sure about you guys, but that makes it so much better to me :) COVERAGE: Again, this is a full coverage foundation, which is always good because a little goes a long way! This product is sure to last and fully cover all discoloration ;) My face is a MESS of yellow patches, rosacea and blemishes, but this foundation gave me a flawless matte finish. TEXTURE: I LOVED the texture of this! Once it was on my skin, it was matte and dried to a smooth, satin finish. Its also easily blendable. Another little thing I love about this product is that it contains NO SPF! I know SPF is our friend you guys, but keep in mind when youre taking photos (especially for events or gatherings) the Spf WILL flash back in pictures!! Overall Rating? Definitely 5 out of 5!!!! Tips - When using a full coverage foundation, always start off with the bare minimum and build as you go, never forgetting to blend down past the jawline (Sorry ladies, the little mask line on your jaw when you walk into the daylight is not cute!
