For my friends and family that asked me to remind them or for anyone interested in helping---this year my family is not celebrating Christmas our usual way with a decorated tree, a buffet meal at home or lots of presents. What we are doing is taking Christmas to those families in AI DuPont cardiac wing that will be spending the holiday in the hospital. We are trying to give gifts to the kids and taking a home cooked meal in for all to enjoy. We would love any donations of toys, radios (to give the gift of music to ICU to help families with an otherwise dreary stay-the radios will stay in the ICU) or money (to help complete the gift list). There are 15 beds in 2B and 14 beds in ICU so any and all help is greatly appreciated. THANK YOU for helping us help other families enjoy a little bit of the holiday.... (all donations will be noted for the hospital.) Happy holidays
