For my new place, the letting agency wants a letter from my current agent to make sure I wont glue the furniture to the ceiling or something. After being pawned off to three different phone numbers, I finally got an e-mail address. Three days later I got an e-mail saying itd cost £24. Then two days later I got one that said itd cost £30. Two days later I get an e-mail saying they only do it over the phone. Next time Im just going to just pretend Im coming from the States again, and have no reference so I dont have to jump through these ridiculous hoops.
