For my out of town friends we lost a Vermilion Parish Deputy earlyer this week to two scum bag criminals. They gunned him down while on his day off. He was mowing a yard when he noticed some suspicious activity so he called for back up and proceeded. After identifying himself as a Vermilion Parish Deputy they shot him multiple times. This was part of his funeral procession. The funeral service was held in Abbeville and he was buried in Erath . People line the road from Abbeville to Erath to pay there respects. The United States Honor Flags was flown in for him and was used on his casket. Thank you for your service sir ! R.I.P.
