For our new series “EK presents: the HAUNTED GUESTS” here is “The Winter Wake” from the s/t album, released in 2006. The title track of the album features guest vocals by Destruction’s leader Schmier. In the original demos of the album the verses were sung by Aydan, and Damna used to call em the “Mille style” verses, because of the similarity of the result with Kreator’s approach - so we had the idea to have some classic thrash metal vocals on. Since Damna at the time had a huge Destruction’s logo on his old car, Schmier was the obvious choice :-)
