For our purposes here, lets ignore dead languages like Old English, Latin, and Koine Greek. English is my native language. I can butcher a few other languages, too, like Spanish and Korean. My Lithuanian is fading, and my tiny bit of Russian is nearly gone. French? I speak no French. None, really. In a survival situation, I could use Latin and Spanish cognates to work out French writing, I suppose. Yet my Google Ad settings have somehow come to the conclusion that the only two languages I speak are English and French. Im not sure how theyve figured that, because I certainly made no such claim. So, in obeisance to our Google overlords, I offer in the video below the sum total of my knowledge of French to enlighten all you poor, ignorant, non-French speakers.
