We intend to make you aware of the contemporary trends, expectations and requisites of the industry. *What is this ?* This workshop has been designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills that are imperative to make way into the consulting and data analytic industry. The workshop would enable the students with intermediate level of MS Excel skills by working towards solutions for basic Business Case studies. *WHY only this ?* Today’s industry needs primarily revolves around forming tangible, implementable solutions to highly unstructured business problems or carrying out complex operational tasks using day-to-day business data. While the analysis and approach to both such tasks differs, it basically boils down to the tools one has to eventually use to form a hypothesis around the data. *HOW to EXCEL in this ?* To cover every aspect of the wide gap between industry expectations and students’ skill set we have formulated some basic Business problems which are highly unstructured. A part of the exercise would be to structure the problems and identify relevant data needed to come up with a solution.
