For sale: 1989 Toyota Celica ST185 GT4. - JDM narrow body - 2 litre turbo - 4 wheel drive - 205,000 kms - rego until 7 March - Konis and super low king springs - camber bolts - 3 straight through exhaust from the turbo back - Cam belt done at 170,000 kms - new battery, alternator, 2 x CVs, 2 x wheel bearings all within the last 6 months - Hose from hell done a year ago - Oil and filter change 1000 kms ago - motor is standard besides the exhaust, has never run extra boost, no smoke, runs awesome - interior is clean, everything works including sunroof Downsides - one broken wheel stud - 17 wheels and tires have taken a bit of a hiding, not on this car however, they came on my latest project. - needs a wheel alignment as I didnt realise there were camber bolts when I started maintaining it and didnt mark them. - paint is rough, like all toyota from this era the clear coat is peeling off. Doesnt look the best but shes nice and straight and rust free, would be a great start if you decided it needed paint. - cupholder is broken :( Air con blows cool but not cold Its an awesome car, handles better than anything else Ive ever driven. Id love to put some track time on it but I just havent got the space for all the cars at the moment and its got to go. If I was keeping it Id add a front mount and some extra boost and have the perfect base for a street legal track/khana car $4500 or $4800 on the white OZ Racing Rally rims in some of the pics.
