For sale: Nicky (Ithersay Robert) approximately 18hh shire gelding 8years old. Nicky is a real head turner and a pleasure to own. He is a classic gentle giant and loves to be fussed and groomed. He is quiet to school and is wonderfully supple for such a large horse currently schooled by a 13yr old girl in a small school. Ridden by all the family and will happily school with a complete novice. He is more forward to hack and loves to be up in front however will go behind as well. He has hacked out alone previously and was 100% but hasnt for a while now. He as reasonably low mileage and he takes his confidence from his rider and would really shine with an experienced rider or confident novice. He is the same happy horse being ridden every day or once a month. He will turn his hoof to anything and has done a little dressage and jumping. He will jump rustic fences and coloured poles. He is fab with the farrier and is currently barefoot. He will live out all year round un-rugged but is just as happy stabled. This is a very sad sale of a really genuine horse. He is a hard to find sort, a real character and will be greatly missed. £3,000ono with some tack and rugs.
