For sale: These buckles are some of the many mementos I have from my service with the 9th Regiment. Unfortunately, no one in my family has any interest in this stuff and upon my departure they will end up in a dumpster, on the curb or worse yet in the hands of some jerk that has no appreciation for what they represent. Thus, I am going to offer these up for auction through this Facebook page. I’ve posted two pictures of 13 belt buckles of various size and design. Six in the center are the type worn on the web belt, four regular size, two larger size. Two of the regular size are the official ones issued by the Army. The two larger ones and three of the smaller ones are the Korean vintage. Three toward the right would work on a belt with holes. Two on the left are for attaching to the old pistol belts. The one on the far right is just the buckle portion of a pistol belt buckle. Hook is missing. What you see is what you get. All could use some Brasso, all were worn at one time or another and may show it. I’ll accept bids until January 7th. I’ll respond to each bid with a Message Received. Send bids to Rick_Novy@yahoo. Put Buckles in the subject line so you message does not get lost in Spam. I will not disclose who bids or how much. The highest bid gets them all. If two or more high bids are equal, I’ll pick a name from the hat and contact that person. No bids accepted on Facebook. E-mail only.
