For sale or lease, Klamath Falls, Or. 2007 APHA BS Mare, Darlin Wheres My Cash. 14.3 hh. Has logged several hours of trail time and just started this summer with arena work: walk, trot, canter with up and down transitions, leg cues with a green side pass right and left, and some gate work. Ground poles/cavaletti, and jumps set as high as 12 and seemed to enjoy it. Ridden english and western with dog bone snaffle or hackamore. Had her teeth floated and wolf teeth pulled in May 2014 with neg fecal test from vet. Current on shots, currently has front shoes on and is due for new. Needs a quiet, patient farrier. Loads, hauls, ties, bathes. Ridden by myself and my 15 year old daughter who has only been riding for less than 2 years. I think she would make a nice 4-H horse for a knowledgeable youth. Has been around some barrels for fun but Im not sure she would be fast enough for serious contention but has good fun gaming potential with some work. Darlin is a good little horse that is still green but sweet. She prefers a gentle handler with quiet mannerisms and responds best to positive reinforcement. We would keep her but Im making room for a rescue who needs me more and a good home. Im asking $1000 o.b.o. for her but I really want her to go to a home who will use her so id be willing to entertain offers for less or maybe a free care lease to the right person/situation.
