For some reason I bet he has a private plane and even a limo and a driver. I really can not stand Tim Kane, but he made the correct decision by driving. We had the opportunity to go to Orlando for my Daughter to play softball. We could have gotten 3 round trip airplane tickets for $220.00. Plus we still would have had to get a rental car at about $150-$200 and a tank or 2 of gas. It would have taken 2 hours by plane. It took us less than 12 by car and less than $200 to get there and less than $200 to get back.We saved more than the cost of 1 ticket. Plus we hauled team equipment that would have had to be left, or paid to ship. Driving is stressful and more work. But we left at 7am on the same day the team was to leave at 5pm. We got home at 6:15p.m there arrival was for a little after 7pm. They had a weather delay, I drove through the weather in 2 states. All I am saying is simple changes and minor inconveniences are acceptable and okay if you save money. We had extra $$ and enjoyed more activities because we feel like made the smarter choices. I always hear people suggest that the government budget should be handled like a household budget and smarter decisions would be made!
