For some reason Sam Lentz photograph of a large elephant disappeared. I know this isnt Kenya, but ...... Taken at Etosha Pan in Namibia, this, what was it, Sam? Oh yes, behemoth, shows the adaptation that the desert elephants have made to their physiology to enable them to stroll over the soft sand. Note the disproportionately large feet. Much bigger than the Savannah dwellers, and the much smaller but larger diameter tusks. I dont know what happened to the original post, but heres the image again:
