For some reason every yearr around June my heart grows weighed with sorrow and remembrance. Throughout 8 years of being face to face with the bastard known as ALS, I have loved and lost so many golden friendships to that monster, for some reason many in the summertime. For the first several years it toughened my resolve. Now that I am a seasoned vet I have seen way too much and lost way too many. I am mad and I am sad. For a minute share my heart as I recall by memory only, a handful of the bravest Ive ever known. They exited with great love, dignify, and peace. Gone but never forgotten. Tony Hofer, Tom Asher, Debbie Copestead, Donita Skinner, Larry Pucinelli Sheila Marquee, Steve Browning, Mike Hansen, Doug White, John Ray, Eric Lowen, Pat Dwyer, Joe Marinucci, Chuck, Les Peterson, Paul Jaeger, Carrie Fernald, and so so many more. These were wonderful contributors to our whole world and they should not have died. You are all loved and remembered. xoxo
