For some reason, my son has taken to whistling and I havent been able to figure out why. In fact, hes taken to a few things that I cant figure out like eating chicken all the way down to the bone, bare. Nonetheless, Im trying hard to be ok with it when were walking around in the store, or hes gotten out of the bed early morning or in moments of complete silence. I want to encourage him to continue - maybe hell be one of those superb whistlers - but, in the meantime, I work to find a happy place as I patiently await each time it ends. Kids push us to be better in so many ways.
