For someone Ive never met, its amazing how hard the news of Robin Williams death hit me. Sick to the stomach. Regardless of whether it was the untouchable films like Good Will, Awakenings, Hook, Insomnia, and Ms. Doubtfire, or the less acclaimed RV, Old Dogs and Angriest Man in Brooklyn, one of my favourite things in film was just getting a new fix of Williams, in any shape or form. Slapstick or serious, through his incredibly unique delivery he could really do no wrong. There is a void in the world of humour now, teams of writers couldnt come up with anything half as funny as Williams could off the cuff. I read there are a couple of projects he finished that are yet to be released, so I will be savouring every second of them. For such an unrivalled talent, he shared the same troubles as us all. No one is immune to falling into dark places in life, I hope he understood how valued an outlet his work was for providing so much laughter and comfort throughout his career. Without question a 5-Paddy actor: Paddy Paddy Paddy Paddy Paddy.
