For the First Time - Level I TRE Training in Edinburgh, Scotland, July 2014 The Revolutionary, New Tension & Trauma Release Exercises - led by the experienced international trainer, Riccardo Cassiani Ingoni – supported by certified practitioners This 3-Day workshop is open to everyone. Whether you are someone who works with stressed or traumatised clients, or if you personally want to free yourself from tension. TRE is a self-help tool developed by Dr David Berceli that is used successfully throughout the world and is a complement to all therapeutic modalities. During the course you will explore how trauma impacts the mind and body and how natural recovery is enabled through TRE including: • Understanding the essential physiology that is triggered in overwhelm • Elements of bioenergetics, neuropsychology and psychosomatics • TRE and Post-traumatic stress disorder, anxiety, depression, ageing • The Iliopsoas muscle in the fight-flight response • The freeze response and dissociation - how to stay present in your body • Functioning of the brain and autonomic nervous system during the stress response • Neurogenic tremors in mammals and how insights from the animal kingdom help us understand the stress response • Guidelines for the induction of neurogenic tremors • Research on TRE The course will be very practical. Each morning and afternoon session you will be supported through the exercises and tremors, including time for discussions and sharing of experiences. We will explore the theory behind the model and also develop your skills so you can begin to support other people through the exercises.
