For the Lord himself will come down from Heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the Trumpet call of God, the dead in Christ will rise first. After that , we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will be with the Lord forever. Therefor, encourage one another with these words. 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18 The church is not mentioned from Ch. 4 - 19 in Revelation because at the beginning of Ch. 4 John becomes a type of the church when The Spirit says, Come up here... Then The Church comes back with Jesus in CH. 19! Why?...because we are not on the earth during The Great Tribulation Period! We who trust Jesus, are not going through The Time of Jacobs Trouble. Because you have kept My Word to persevere, I will keep you FROM ( notice that word ) THE Hour of Trial which is to test the whole world. Revelation 3:10 To be kept FROM it means we are not going THROUGH it. God has not appointed US ( who trust Jesus ) to wrath, but to obtain Salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ. We will be gone before The Great Tribulation occurs.
