For the brothers and sisters active in sharing pictures of people from Gaza in the name of ‘raising awareness’: Fear Allaah Know we will all be responsible for our actions on yawm el Qiyamah with no opportunity for ‘ifs’ and ‘buts’ Visually disturbing pictures spread without persons permission; many of em of women without their awrah ucovered. For what? To instigate volatile emotional reactions? So anger is instigated when we are warned from anger, people comment on the photos with language totally against Islaam, minds are occupied away from Allaah and onto worldly affairs. Some of these pictures aren’t even recent or about people in Gaza to begin with! We will be responsible for all the misinformation we spread, all the people we have lead away from Allaah by emotionally weakening them, all the people who we have caused to forget Allaah and remember people, all the women who never asked us to share their uncovered pictures, all the children who didn’t ask us to share their pics of their intestines over the ground The prerequisite for one to care for Gaza isn’t ‘share as many pictures as one can’; we are all hurting for Gaza right now despite how much one openly shows it or keeps it hidden. But please just watch the pictures; the men, women and children of Gaza don’t need to be humiliated any more than they already have been by the Israeli’s for the sake of Facebook profiles
