For the commemoration of the March on Washington for civil rights - TopicsExpress

For the commemoration of the March on Washington for civil rights in 1963, do not be convinced that your civil rights are guaranteed. Do you think you have a right to an attorney if detained and questioned by police? You do not, if someone accuses you of being "crazy." Doctors can then forcibly medicate you prior to a hearing, leaving you unable to defend yourself, represented only by a non-attorney advocate who works for your accuser, who gets money for keeping you in, and they give all records over to the police. How do you think this affects minorities and poor people with disproportionate access to education, not to mention people with mental disabilities who nonetheless have rights? If you think that is fair, you are the one who is insane.
