For the first time I spent Thanksgiving without my family; This because Ill shortly make the 250 mi. trip twice and a third would be a bit much. Instead helped to distribute a Thanksgiving meal, courtesy of my church, to local firefighters working today. Then with others at the church for our own turkey dinner. Tomorrow dinner of leftovers -- and perhaps this a last get-together of the entire Kaffee Klatsch before Lola moves to an assisted living facility close by.
