For the first time in Indigenous History on Mother Earth the Indigenous Peoples and Leadership of Panama organized a Presidential Candidates and Indigenous Leaders Forum that put before the Presidential Candidates of Panama a unified Indigenous Position. After almost three hours of dialogue and tough questions on the various points of the Indigenous Position Paper directed to the Presidential Candidates, the Indigenous Leaders signed a legally certified agreement with five of Presidential Candidates who were in attendance to actualize their proposal over the next five years. The primary host and organizers of this historic event were the Indigenous Women s Organization of Panama. Elections for the new President of Panama take place on May 4, 2014. With unity, the Indigenous Peoples of Panama have the numbers and dedication to determine who will be the next President of Panama. Please send your prayers in support!!!!!!!!
