For the last 10+ years I have baked my cookies on a silpat on top of a double aluminum cookie sheet. I had recently ordered from QVC ceramic baking sheets. Just two, just 22 bucks. Did not want to throw away too much money on an experiment. Cooked a batch of choc chip cookies on the silpat and a batch on the ceramic sheet. The ceramic choc chip cookie batch had better colour, better texture on the inside and this was a great experience. Both the silpat batch and the ceramic batch were cooked at the same time from the same dough. Just wanted to let you know. I had never even dreamed of buying from QVC. The ceramic cookie sheet also cleaned up without using any sort of scrubbing. Just a wash cloth. woo hooo
