For the last 15 years I have suffered from chronic pain. 8 years ago, I was diagnosed with lupus, since then weve added Rheumatoid arthritis and Sjögrens disease to the fun. Every day is a battle against my own body... 6 weeks ago I finally listened to my rheumatologist and started the methotrexate pills. The made me violently sick, made my hair thin ridiculously and caused me to feel like death Monday-Wednesday. This Monday I switched to the injections... Gone is the feeling like death, just a little tired, the nausea is mild and well, theres no hope for my hair... But, I ran up the stairs yesterday. I feel like a new person. Do I still ache? Yes. But, I feel like myself again! So, while playing in clay this morning this song came on and it really resonated. Im ready... Lets Go!
