For the last 3 years Ive been volunteering as an animal activist in a campaign called Shut Down Mazor Farm, which aim was to close down Mazor farm, a monkeys breeding farm located in Israel which for 23 years was kidnapping monkeys from nature, breeding them, forcibly separating their infants and selling them to unimaginably cruel experiments in laboratories worldwide. The extensive Israeli and international public campaign was successful, and a new regulation was introduced last year, which bans monkey trade in Israel as of the coming 15th of January. Until that time, Mazor farm is making every effort to relocate the monkeys to the US, where they will be able to keep breeding them and sell them to laboratories. We can not let this happen to them! We have established a public-benefit company called Monkey Rescue, which is headed by a group of senior entrepreneurs from the Israeli financial, legal, academic, social and animal rights sectors. Today it launches its campaign for raising donations from the public, in order to redeem the monkeys and provide them with a home for the coming 30 years. We need your donations and involvement NOW.
