For the last two weeks, we have not received a list of dogs IN DANGER OF BEING KILLED and need to be networked to SAVE THEIR LIVES. Likewise, the individuals who do temperament testing on the dogs have not been asked to assess them. Yet, MCAS chose to kill at least 6 dogs yesterday. ONE DOG WAS KILLED FOR BEING FEARFUL??? We were networking that dog, but since the shelter was CLOSED TO CLEAN UP THE PARVO INFECTION, NO DOGS COULD BE ADOPTED FROM PALMETTO. Please ask why A062621, a cute tan lab mix, was killed on the 6th day he was in shelter. Came in on 1-10-14 & killed 1-16-14. Whitmore & the others who supervise the shelter just walk with their collective heads down & pretend everything is great.
