For the last year I woke up every morning with an aching back. Having had a bad back for most of my life, I knew I had to finally replace our 20 year old mattress. I spent a lot of time researching all the different kinds of mattresses. I visited about 5 or 6 stores and spent an hour and a half in one store in particular with a very knowledgeable salesman who had me try-out just about every manufacturer and type of mattress in the store, from inner-spring to memory foam, with gel and without, hybrids to latex. Finally, I decided on a 100% latex mattress WITH AN ADJUSTABLE BASE, that allows me to raise the head and foot of the bed into what the salesman called the ZERO GRAVITY position. Though I spent a bit more than I had planned, I can honestly say I have never slept so well!! I had my boys come over and try it out. They all agreed it was awesome and said they were glad that I had planned ahead and purchased my HOSPITAL BED before they had to. Ha.
