For the materialistic Christians, who find their identity in what they possess, allow me to share this with you. Jesus wasnt from the uppercrust, economically or socially. He was a blue-collar person, a poor carpenter from a nowhere village called Nazareth. Jesus did not own a home. He had no social status, or as the prophet Isaiah wrote, no stately form or majesty (53:2) in which in our day heads would turn when He would walk in a room. He lived on this earth that He created, but claimed no wealth or worldly greatness. Anyone who judged Him by the world standards, wealth, status, appearance, and so on, was and is off the mark. And so is man today with this prosperity message or saying that God wants you to be rich. Theyre getting rich from their pulpit ponzi schemes! Fft The Book of Acts is a true show and example of how the Church should operate, and thats in love, and be moved by LOVE and not money. Stop being a respector of persons, our Father isnt! You cannot pick and choose who you want to outreach too, thats religion, grow up and allow the Spirit of God to move you and place you where you belong.Amen
