For the most part, the salvation formula for this generation is to simply repeat a prayer after a spiritually dead “disciple of Christ.” Once that prayer is mumbled, the person is eternally saved regardless of what happens in the future. The message of repentance, trusting in Jesus Christ, forsaking everything for the cause of Christ, persecutions, God’s wrath, hell and the lake of fire, sin, the Revelation and Daniel, Bible prophecy, and good sound Bible doctrine is seldom heard in today’s churches. Contemporary churches are primarily storytelling, fun-filled, prosperity-seeking institutions that hear of God’s love without warning of the coming judgment. It is a church age that claims they know God, but in both fruit and works, they deny Him. The lukewarm, Laodicean church is the one that will be spit out. It is the church that will be left behind at the Rapture. As very few were saved in the days of Noah, and in like manner very few are truly saved today. When the Rapture comes, only a few will be taken!!! ~ jhk
