For the past 6ish months I have been under the mentorship of the incredible Prosad Freeman , who has generously been guiding and teaching me in many aspects of Indian music: sitar, raags, rhythm, singing, and spirituality. Last night I felt very inspired and so decided to record my first sitar solo. I offer you this simple piece, the first stepping stone on my journey with this magical instrument. Raag Agnibaagh (Fire Tiger in Sanskrit) is the result of some very serendipitous, mystical, and magical events that occurred on the night of Jan 10th, 2015.
