For the past couple of days the hot news for CAs Is the release of the names of the CAs who have signed / uploaded more than 60 Tax Audit reports. It is surprising with the technology we have, that the system is allowing to upload N number of Tax audit reports. my idea is why cant the ICAI make a request to the Board to disable the filing of the 61st TAR report in the portal. The INcome tax Act does not specify the limit on assignments and I feel it is the basic work of the institute to approach the board and request them to set the counter for TAR filing. PREVENTION IS ALWAYS BETTER THAN CURE.
