For the past month our country - Philippines was devastated with flood, earthquake and super typhoon-strongest typhoon ever recorded through out the world. Just lately more than 10,000 people lost their lives. Hoping that everyone has prayed for these unfortunate families and if you have the chance to make donations grab the opportunity to extend your help. There are a lot of groups, foundation and civic organizations initiating campaign fund. The dollar you gave can feed and give shelter to thousands of families that need help. Have known group of nurses and their families in Houston-Katy-Sugarland area called HOUSTON LOVES BOHOL selling bracelet for $5 and proceeds are for the earthquake and flood victims. They initially send money but their campaign is still ongoing due to the worst devastation. Philippine Nurses Association of Metro Houston- North is going to have a masquerade Christmas party for a cause also on December 14. ABS-CBN and GMA foundations are also other ways of extending direct help. They are actively in the devastated areas so any amount will go directly and help these families to provide food, shelter, medicines and safe water to drink. Whatever effort made great and small the Lord will replenish you with abundance. As the bible says it is better to give than to receive. God bless us all!
